Car ‘Vending Machines’ Now Provide More Access to Automobiles
Thanks to technology, the world is becoming more automated, and examples of it are being seen directly in the auto industry. Carvana, the online auto retailer, launched a new vending machine-type service last year, making it easier than ever to purchase a vehicle.
“Our new Vending Machine is a state-of-the-art, multi-story structure that delivers our customers’ cars by merely inserting a custom coin,” said Ernie Garcia, CEO and foudner of Carvana. “Carvana’s mission is to create a better way to buy a car, and this new Vending Machine will be a one-of-a-kind experience that mirrors just how simple and easy we’ve made it to buy a car online.”
At the time of pickup, the customer inserts a Carvana-branded coin into the machine, retrieving the selected car from the Tower. It is eventually moved into Delivery Bay, where the customer can begin a seven-day trial of the vehicle.
But more cars on the road naturally means the need for additional parking. That being said, it isn’t easy to find area for parking, especially in heavily populated urban areas.
This is where CityLift Parking comes into play. Situated in Oakland, the company is helping real estate developers save an ample amount of space with automated parking solutions. To learn more about how CityLift can benefit you, contact us today.Next Post
