Orion Apartments

255 9th Ave, Oakland, CA 94606

Orion Apartments in Oakland offers a generous variety of studios, one, two, three-bedrooms and townhome-style floor plans to choose from. Each complete with premium finishes including polished quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an in-unit washer/dryer.

CityLift completed a 235-space installation for Orion in 2019. This project has both a 3-Level Puzzle, and a 3-Level Puzzle with Tandem configuration.

410 5TH AVE SW, OLYMPIA, WA 98501

Well-designed floor plans include studio, one, and two-bedroom apartment homes that are thoughtfully laid out with luxury in mind. Quartz countertops, wood-style flooring, custom cabinetry, upscale lighting, and fixtures are just a few of the amenities.

CityLift employed a three Tower design, constructed of 144 parking spaces which are accessed via 3 entry bays.

Avalon Public Market

6301 Shellmound St, Emeryville, CA 94608

Located in the City of Emeryville, CA, the 6301 Shellmound project consists of a mixed-use, seven-story building with residences, retail, and amenity spaces. A total of 211 residential units are planned. The project site is situated in close proximity to major freeways and an active rail line used by both freight and passenger trains.

Paperbox Lofts

300 West 200, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Salt Lake City will become home to Utah’s first standalone automated parking system. It’s being called, “Paperbox Lofts”. The mixed-use development will include 195 apartment units, retail and restaurant space, a park for public use and a 10,000-square foot “pocket park,” open to the public. As part of an effort to alleviate parking woes, developers are putting in a 7-level, 112 parking space mechanical lift system.

Axletree Apartments

11125 SE 21st AVE, MILWAUKIE, OR 97222

A one-of-a-kind in the Milwaukie-Sellwood area. Just a few minutes from Portland, Axletree Apartments offers modern living, with elegant forms of local architecture and design that captures stunning views of the Willamette River. On the corner of SE 21st Avenue and Washington Street in downtown Milwaukie, the 110-unit building overlooks the Willamette River and is adjacent to the TriMet MAX Orange line station, making the Portland’s South Waterfront and Portland State University a convenient 25-minute ride away.

Developer chose automated parking in order to meet the parking minimums of the development, while adding a subgrade parking level would have been prohibitively expensive. CityLift was selected due to competitive pricing and a preferable service package.

Quattro

389 East 400 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

The Quattro will consist of a two-story concrete podium below five wood-framed floors. The project will have a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments the majority of which will be one and two-bedroom units.

The ground floor will house 2,355 square-feet of retail space, a sales office, lobby, mail room, storage area for bicycles and structured parking. The apartment and parking entrances will front 400 East, while the retail portion will front 400 South.

Bento Box Living

1267 3rd Ave S, Nashville, TN 37210

Small footprint living goes big time in Fall 2019, when Bento Box debuts in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. 89 residential and mixed-use apartment units geared toward creative entrepreneurs will offer economy and sustainability combined with the amenities of hotel living.

CityLift’s automated parking will feature a 5-Level Puzzle system consisting of 83 spaces. This will be the first of its kind for the city of Nashville.

The Birdie

218 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

This proposed residential project by local developer C.W. Land, will replace a 0.34 acre surface parking lot on the corner of 200 East and 200 South. Current plans call for six floors, including ground-floor retail space, amenity deck and improved street-scape. The building will include 70-units and will be a mix of 1-and 2-bedrooms. Current plans do not meet the D-1 zoning height requirement minimum of 100 ft. and developers are pursuing a Conditional Building and Site Design Review (CBSDR) to allow the building at its current proposed height of 82 ft. As downtown continues to grow, the amount of infill projects and development of surface lots will continue to climb.

20 Marion Condos

20 Marion Street, Brookline, MA 02446

20 Marion Street in Coolidge Corner are now available in Brookline, MA. Due to the constraints of the project, the developer had to go with automated parking with each space being independently accessible. CityLift’s two-level Puzzle system with a pit was the perfect solution.

70 residential units and 22,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail, debuting a new Bartell Drugs store, dibdesk (an App-based workplace), and a coffee café.

The CityLift solution allowed for additional residential units to be added to the project to maximize the return on their investment.

Louis Ignacio Cottage

214 DE LA GUERRA, SANTA BARBARA, CA 93101

This downtown project is creating a first for Santa Barbara, automated underground parking. The Italianette house, constructed in 1875, is being restored as part of a larger project to bring in more workforce housing. Per Monte Ward, “it’s going to be new to Santa Barbara, but it’s gonna have to be the wave of the future because parking is such an issue in this town.”
CityLift Tandem Puzzle with Pits system totals 32 automated spaces.

3205 Pico

3205 PICO BLVD, SANTA MONICA, CA 90405

Constructed in 2020, this mixed-use 3 story office and retail space totals 4,838 square feet. There was no way to meet the parking count on this lot without employing automated parking. Entry is through a locked gate into a secure parking area that connects to the rear of the building for easy access.

Mercer Island

2856 80th AVENUE, MERCER ISLAND, WA 98040

This new 7,500 square foot building for professional services private offices, collaboration, and community space takes advantage of unique corner site geometry and topography. The project intends to serve as a model for sustainable development on Mercer Island and in the region, designed to LEED Gold standards and using materials such as cross-laminated timber and create a high-quality and timeless building for a local family business. Below-grade parking is provided and utilizes an automated parking system.

CityLift saved both space and money on this project. Giving the developer 17 spaces in the same footprint that traditional parking only allowed for 7 spaces.

51 Silver

These stunning 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units come with garage parking and private outdoor space. Idora Apartments

This urban infill, residential building is located on a small site with very limited space to provide parking to new residents. The three-level Puzzle allowed subterranean space to be used to maximize efficiency.

The Hive - Fully Automated Garage

The Hive parking garage located in Oakland, CA will be the first fully automated parking garage in the San Francisco Bay Area. It turned 7 conventional parking spaces into 39 spaces, built on 7 stories. Estimated completion date is Spring 2017. The Hive parking garage is a winner of the 2017 Parade of Products at the Pacific Coast Builder’s Conference!

ORO Apartments

1501 NW Overton St, Portland, OR 97209

Originally a surface parking lot, ORO Apartments is CityLift Parking’s first installation in Portland, OR. The building by Vallaster Corl Architects is a 73’-11” tall mixed-use residential and retail project containing 68 residential units and three ground floor retail spaces. The quarter block site is located at the corner of NW 15th Ave and Overton Street in the Pearl district. CityLift is installing a Three Level semi-automatic Puzzle System with 22 automated parking spaces that will be completed in early 2019.

19J Apartments

172 Avenue F

172 Avenue F, Bayonne, NJ 07002

Bayonne’s planning board approved a new development project at 172 Avenue F. The turnkey development site comes with plans for a six-story, 18-unit residential building at the 5,400 square foot lot at the corner of Avenue F and East 24th Street. Included plans by DAL Design Group call for nine one-bedroom and nine two-bedroom units, a ground floor semi-automatic parking system for 20 vehicles, as well as a rooftop amenity area with partial NYC views.

The Austin Condominiums

1545 Pine St, San Francisco, CA 94109

1545 Pine Street is a condominium development project located in the heart of San Francisco, at the confluence of Nob Hill, Pacific Heights and the burgeoning Mid-Market neighborhoods. The property is located just off Polk Street, with its authentic mix of storied retail outlets and innovative newcomers. Rising 12 stories, 1545 Pine Street will be home to approximately 100 junior one bedroom, one- and two-bedroom residences. The building was designed by world-renown Arquitectonica with an anticipated completion in 2017.

Star Tower

Star Tower is a new luxury development located in Long Island City Queens. CityLift installed 32 fully-automated parking spaces in a Tower tandem configuration. Traditional parking in the basement would have required all of the area in the basement to be used for parking. By using CityLift, the developer captured back 75% of the required space, which allowed them to be able to add storage units and a basketball court, as well as other BOH areas that were not able to be accommodated earlier.

288 Pacific

288 Pacific Ave, San Francisco, CA 94111

288 Pacific is a new 33-unit residential development in the Jackson Square area of San Francisco. The building takes design cues from the historical warehouses in the area, offering a modern interpretation of the brick low-rise structures that still adorn the neighborhood.

The Maxwell is a new apartment development by Bay West Development at 1801 Jefferson Street in Oakland. The development was completed in 2017 and has a total of 80 units.

Harmon Guest House

227 HEALDSBURG AVE, HEALDSBURG, CA 95448

An expansion to the family, the Harmon Guest House (H3) joins H2 hotel and Hotel Healdsburg to complete a trio of boutique eco-hotels adjacent to the square in Healdsburg. The new guest house sits on a narrow lot just to the north of h2hotel, bringing more sustainable accommodations and a needed parking resource for the popular wine-country town. At ground level, a dramatic glass entry lobby and green stair set the tone of openness and welcome. The transparent façade is screened with reclaimed redwood sun-shading and vine-covered cable trellises at the street level. A sheltered bus-stop waiting bench is built into the face of the hotel. Harmon Guest House features 39 efficient rooms—including six suites—in intimate pods grouped at the front and rear of the site. Between, a central courtyard brings in light and air, and glassed-in bridges connect the rooms across the court.

Avalon Dogpatch

800 Indiana St, San Francisco, CA 94107

The new Dogpatch complex will sit at 800 Indiana Street, in the shadow of the 280 freeway and a very short walk away from the 22nd Street Caltrain station. It will also be near Esprit Park and the main attractions of Dogwatch’s Third Street. The three architects behind the project are Pyatok Architects, Kennelly Architecture + Planning, and Mithun/Solomon. Three public plazas will be included, one at the entry of each building, and a set of interior courtyards sit at the center. The first residents are expected to move in by late 2017.

With a spike in commercial and residential development nearby, this Oakland garage was experiencing demand that exceeded their capacity. As surrounding street parking was scheduled to be eliminated over the next 24 month period—monthly parking increased to $200 per space. CityLift was hired to increase the existing parking capacity by 50%. By doing so, this owner gained additional operating income adding instant value to their property.
